General Information
St. John's Lutheran Preschool

1.The purpose of our school is to provide a preschool curriculum for the children of our church and community. This curriculum includes an emphasis on Christian instruction with the full intent of leading a child to grow in spirit, mind and body. Our curriculum is implemented through play, art and music activities. These activities, with guidance from the teacher, will teach and reinforce developmentally appropriate social, cognitive and motor skills that are needed to ready children for Kindergarten, and foster creativity.

2. All children must be potty trained to be enrolled. Three-year-olds must be three by October 1 and four-year-olds must be four by October 1. Any exceptions to this must be agreed upon by the director and accepted by the child's prospective teacher.

3. Immunization Certificate Form EPID 230 must be obtained from your child's doctor and be on file at school by September 10th.

4. Preschool for four year olds and K-Readiness will be held on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. The three-year-olds will attend on Wednesday and Fridays. Class hours are 9:00-12:00 noon.

5. Enrollment is approximately 16 children per four-year-old class, 14 children per three-year-old class and 6 K-Readiness students. Each class will have a certified teacher and an assistant in the three's and four's class.

6. Tuition is \\$105.00 monthly for three days a week and $90.00 per month for two days a week. A materials fee of $25.00 will be required for K-Readiness students. Tuition is due by the tenth (10th) of each month. A combined payment of September and May's tuition is due by September 10th. Checks should be made payable to St. John's Lutheran Preschool.
