The purpose of St. John's Lutheran Preschool is to provide a preschool curriculum for the children of our church and community. This curriculum includes an emphasis on Christian instruction - with the full intent of following Dr. Martin Luther's ideal of leading a child to grow in spirit, mind and body.

St. John's Lutheran Preschool is licensed by the State of Kentucky and is a non-profit educational extension of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lexington, Kentucky. The Preschool Board's activities are consistent with the purpose of the Board of Education of St. John's as directed by the Church Council and church by-laws. St. John's Lutheran Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin.
